Introduction
This center was first established with a 19.2 kb/sec
line by research Center of Theoretical physics and
mathematics (IPM) in 2000. It was then promoted to
64kb/sec line by the Iranian Science Organization of
Science and Technology the next year. In 2002, the
center was again promoted to a 256kb/sec line.
Having lacked the proper connecting structure, the
university organized an efficient, international link
through Cyber Route Dutch Company with 1 Mb/sec
bandwidth. This center is now putting into operation a
4Mb/sec line through Telecommunications (TCI).
The center has organized and established a proper
structure through fiber optic to the university that
had 60 active telephone lines. The center is able to
provide 34Mb/sec bandwidth that can be used for Web
and
Internet services.
