This is Ezatollah Farshadfar who was born in 1953 in a peasant Family in the Chaleh Chaleh village in the province of Kermanshah. I finished my high school education in the city of Kermanshah in 1973 in the subject of Natural sciences with average of 18.63 out of 20 and obtained my diploma with excellent degree (first student in high school). In 1973 I passed the national examination of Ministry of science, research and technology in crop production and plant breeding and entered Shahid Chamran University of Ahwaz, Iran. After 4 years in 1977 I got my B.Sc degree in Crop production and plant breeding with excellent degree. In 1977 I travelled to the United State of America toward M.Sc degree in Agronomy and passed 30 credits in Portland State University and California State University (Frezno). In 1986 I graduated from Tarbiat Modaress University with M.Sc degree in plant Breeding with excellent degree and in 1995 I got my Ph.D degree in the Hungraina Academy of Sciences with excellent degree and average of 100 out of 100. In 2002 I spend 6 months Sabatical in Birmingham University working on mapping and QTL analysis.


Educational activities

I have been teaching principles of genetics, principles of statistics, principles of plant breeding, experimental design 1 and experimental design 2 at the B.Sc level and Biometry 1, Biometry 2, advanced genetics, multivariate statistics and advanced plant breeding at the M.Sc level for the students of plant breeding since 1985 and I am still following the same job.


Execuative activities

  1. Head of college of agriculture, Razi University, Kermanshah from 1986 till 1989.

  2. Vice Chancellor of Razi University for three years since 1986.

  3. Chancellor of Islamic Azad University of Kermanshah since 1988 till 1992.

  4. Chancellor of state mangement training center of Kermanshah since 1998 and still following the same job.

  5. Chancellor of Razi university since 2003 till 2007.
